Flux within Illustration.
Throughout the decades illustration has gone through many changes and advances, probably one of the most notable is the change from hand drawn illustration to digital computer based illustration, and the severe advancements of computer based illustration software such as the introduction of adobe products eg illustrator and photoshop.

Flux brief.
For our first project back for our second year at university we have been given the brief "Flux" It is within the module "design Specialism" The project is split up into tasks that we have to complete.
I researched the term "Flux" within the design area and found that it was considered as: The act of flowing; a continuous moving on or passing by, as of a flowing stream; constant succession; change.
I think understanding the term "flux" helps to understand this project more, as for one of the tasks we have to create a presentation within a group that consists of people from all of the different specialism groups eg: advertising, general graphics, illustration, structural, typography etc. We will research flux within design and within our specialist areas, and the constant changes and differences that come within design and how it is constantly progressing and evolving through the ages. Our presentation has to be around fifteen minutes long.
Task 2 consists of two mini tasks, one of them is to keep this reflective blog throughout the project, and the other part of the task consists of a brief that will be given to us by our specialism leader.
